Automatic Splices
This product allows for the connection of electrical conductors and is ideal for repairing and correcting breaks or faults in aluminum conductors. It is an innovative and easy-to-install solution that restores the mechanical and electrical properties of aluminum conductors. Resistant to contamination and saline environments, it requires no additional tools or dies for application. Its technology safely replaces conventional splices with numerous advantages: it operates at a lower temperature than the conductor, contains anti-corrosion paste, and exhibits no electrical resistance. Applicable to AAC, ACSR, AAAC, and insulated aluminum cables, respecting the appropriate interval and application instructions for each cable type.

 
SoiEA also offers bimetallic terminals, copper terminals, grounding clamps, split stud connectors, automatic splice connectors, insulated punch-down connectors, cable ties and tapes, ground rods, and junction boxes, among other products.

Color-coded, funnel-shaped ends provide instant visual identification of the maximum conductor size and quickly guide the conductor into the insertion position.

Application:

1. The color-coded end allows for instant visual identification of the maximum conductor size.

2. The funnel-shaped end quickly guides the conductor into the correct insertion position.

3. The guide cap wraps around the strands and directs the conductor through the serrated jaws to the center of the splice.

4. The precision-cast jaw provides optimal contact surface area for a wider range of conductor sizes, reducing inventory requirements.

5. The tubular center stop automatically determines the correct conductor insertion length.

6. The high-strength aluminum alloy tube covers the splice for superior corrosion protection and extended service life. An instruction sheet is included in each polybag, saving time and eliminating potential errors during installation.

Installation:

Before inserting the conductor, the following steps must be performed:

1) Clean the end of the conductor to remove any rust.

2) Measure and mark the conductor to determine how far it must be inserted to reach the center of the splice.

3) Insert the conductor smoothly and without pushing it back in until it reaches the center stop. Note the mark to ensure complete insertion.

4) After inserting both ends, pull down on the splice to secure the clamps in a permanent installation.
